Claire R. Holland, MD, LMT

Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Massage Therapy, Light Touch Therapy, and Qigong Instruction

Dr. Holland is a licensed Medical Doctor in Florida and a Licensed Massage Therapist in both Wisconsin and Florida. After graduating from Creighton University, and completing her Family Medicine Residency she became a Board Certified Family Physician.

While practicing medicine in Michigan, Dr. Holland recognized that complementary medicine would offer her patients expanded treatment options. She began incorporating Light Touch Therapy into her group practice after studying with W. Brugh Joy, M.D. - one of the leading proponents and teachers of body-energy medicine and the author of Joy's Way and Avalanche.

Dr. Holland's other teachers have included Bernie Siegel, M.D., author of Love, Medicine, and Miracles, Stephanie Simonton, author of Getting Well Again, as well as Joan Boryshenko and Carolyn Myss.

Dr. Holland graduated from the renowned Florida School of Massage in Gainesville, Florida. She has been certified as a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist by the prestigious MLD Institute, and she earned her Reiki Certification in Jacksonville Beach, FL.  Claire Holland is an avid practitioner of Qigong, Tai Chi, and Yoga.  She is a Certified Qigong Instructor.

Dr. Holland has served on the physician staff at Mayport Naval Station, Lake Butler Hospital, and North Florida Regional Medical Center.  She enjoys bringing her patients the best of many worlds -- Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Massage Therapy, Light Touch Therapy, and Qigong too!
